I live in Oklahoma and oec installed this plate when ran the fiber to the router. I’ve been trying to remove it but can get it off without breaking it. I’ve looked online and there was a post a few years ago but they never figure out how to remove it. I was wondering if anyone since then has figured out how to take it off

I’m sure you tried just pulling it off. Had a light fixture for the life of me couldn’t figure it out and it just pulled straight off.

It can only really be attached in so many ways.

    1. Either the face pops off by the holes or something g like that, leaving a backer piece on the wall (ie half the hole stays on the wall). Can’t tell from this photo if there is a line of separation along the top suggesting this is the case.

    2. Some variation of the entire plate pops off (ie pry between it and the wall with a screwdriver)

The clips / snaps which hold it in place may be really stiff and hard to separate non-destructively. But it went on there somehow, so has to come off somehow.

Ok so I figured it out the OFS is just a piece of plastic that covers a screw. Unscrew that and it’ll come off
