Rolls Royce Saliba 😎
Rob Holding (2016-2023)
With the dates this is starting to read like an obituary!
Gabriel (2020-present )
Lets take the current players out of contention to remove recenct bias.
Kocielney hands down
let’s take the former players out of contention to remove nostalgia bias.
Glad to see Monreal at LB. There was no other choice.
Just like there is nothing choice other than Saliba.
Saliba for the right sided CB for me
Saliba for me
Saliba
Koscielny??
i am so interested to see what this sub does with ramsey. there’s no argument for putting him over ozil or santi (or odegaard for that matter), and he’s not a cdm, but i can’t imagine this sub leaving him out of the xi. guess we’re about to find out what happens.
For LB position, Nacho Monreal wins by landslide. He’s the first player to have more than 1k votes for a position. Here’s the top 3 LBs based on your votes:
-
Monreal - 2.2k
-
Tierney - 542
-
Tomiyasu - 456
I’ll put some suggestions in the comments for RCB for you to vote (I’m guessing this another landslide win for certain CB 👀).
If I’m building a team from scratch without considering fitness, I’m choosing Zinchenko over these.

Koscienly , Saliba in maybe a couple of years more , but Koscienly was our best Emirates era Center back, he was a beast.
This whole series is going to be invalidated here, our sub picking Saliba for 2 seasons of being in the team over per Mertesacker is outrageous. I guess shows the average age of the sub right now.
Shows the ability of Saliba more than anything. Two seasons is enough to see he’s the best CB we’ve had in a very long time
He’s not though, Mertesacker and kosc were both better at their peaks than Saliba is now.
I disagree. Saliba is so much more complete than either of them. Mertesacker was always vulnerable playing a high line because he lacked any real pace and Saliba easily eclipses Koscielny in terms of physicality.
I love Monreal too but how did he beat Clichy? Clichy was better in just about every way.
Clichy left in 2011 so it seems a bit wrong to give it to him seeing as he hardly played in the period in question.
