    I remember Jonathan Calleri also “played” for a third party club, Deportivo Maldonado. Wasn’t Mascherano also once owned by a third party company while he was at West Ham? And how much “slave trading” is going on with African players now, that forced Silas to even change his name? I like football the sport, but increasingly I’m finding it hard to ignore these absolutely horrifying treatment of humans that is hidden behind all the spectacle

    The difference between this and selling clubs is that the selling clubs and the player’s interest align far more than this model (what I understand seems to be, and I may be mistaken)of :

    snapping up cheap talents and sending promising players between horribly managed clubs you have connection with for a cheap buck with no regard for long term values of anyone.
