Where’s Elneny, you all love him so much but nobody wants him to play.
We love him because he’s a good bloke, long serving, great attitude, and a reliable enough backup to close out games. He’s nowhere near a best XI, and I’m sure he’d say the same thing
The only true contenders should be ozil, cesc, santi and ramsey. Ozil for his magic, santi because he’s fun as hell to watch and you’ll only need one corner kicker and have all free kicks covered. Cesc for his pinpoint passing and ramsey for his engine and goal threat
But if we only get to choose two it’s probably ozil and cesc. That’s saying a lot because Santi is absolutely amazing. But prime ozil just has that x factor and cesc’s passing is just too good.
If we talk about ceilings, ozil is just on another dimension when he’s peak

Controversial opinion… This is really hard and I can’t make my mind up.
Heart says Ozil & Cazorla because they were a joy to watch (and so hot surprised they’re winning)
But I wouldn’t argue if Rambo & Odegaard get the nod with a late surge.
Odegaard and Cazorla imo. Not sure it’s too much of a contest in the era we’re discussing.
Love Ramsey but he was half the player if Ozil and/or Santi weren’t on the field. He had clutch moments but then so did Ozil (Chelsea) & Cazorla (Hull/Villa).
I actually like Rambo second half 12/13 before the goal glut, he was all action in that period. He’s other best seasons came as a RM & SS
Fabregas and Cazorla or Ramsey are the ones for me.
