…no slower shipping available and an insane duties handling fee… brings total to just over 400 bucks… an absolute joke… wont be buying one anymore 😭

For anyone thinking these might be bad or look fake, I’ve been buying from here for years and these kits last much longer than my official ones

The online store is a joke. When I ordered the home shirt for this season I got a L with an XL label instead of an XL

What about directly from the adidas website?

Would that be an option for you?

Normally adidas has free shipping and it would be posting from within the country so you’d avoid the income taxation.

At least that’s how it is in Europe. Doesn’t hurt to check I’m gonna say.

I’ve gotten a few through Adidas and it’s been really easy. Had to return one cause it was too big. And sometimes even if you want to add a name and number it won’t let you for some reason. Even though it has the option to select them. That usually for sale items or ones with low stock. But yeah shipping is free and usually lightning quick in the US.

Plus if you get to AdiClub level 3 (so you have enough points from Adidas stuff you’ve bought) you can actually start getting names and numbers added for free instead of the usual $30. I buy a decent amount of stuff for the kiddo and myself on Adidas so getting to level 3 was not too difficult.

Found out Adidas cancelled my home jersey order after 2 months this week. This after customer service promising shipping was imminent for weeks. Gave a coupon for next purchase that isn’t applicable to the jersey.

Honestly you are better off - last couple times I’ve ordered a kit from the official site they have done a half-assed job with the numbers/letters. I think I’m unlikely to ever pay full price again, there are too many better options out there.

You made the right call not ordering. I ordered 2 shirts direct from Arsenal a few months ago (I posted it about) & the experience was a headache.

    • My total was something like $350. Pricey but fine.
    • My first shipment went missing (prob stolen) from the FedEx facility in Feltham, GB. It took almost 30 days for Arsenal to send me a replacement order.
    • The second shipment arrived like this. Arsenal sends their shirts in branded packaging so it’s very susceptible to theft. Somebody tore open my package to check what was inside, and then re-taped it.
    • The haphazardly torn package got caught on some sort of machine & the plastic from the package melted onto my Authentic shirt.
    • I was able to get a refund from Arsenal, but altogether, this back & forth has taken nearly 2 months.

That sucks, I ordered from Arsenal store a bunch of t-shirts and a replica jersey to the US. And it was perfectly fine and shipment was reasonably quick considering the distance. I wonder if it’s less likely to happen in the US because the sport/team is less popular here.

It does suck. I last ordered a jersey from Arsenal in 2014(?) and it arrived in perfect condition, within about 2 weeks. This was just an annoying experience! Next time I will order from Adidas.

What I do is I buy hoodies and jackets from the official store and the kits from dhgate. I know some don’t agree with buying fake kits, but it’s so expensive and the quality lately hasn’t been great anyway. I compared some time ago and they felt the same.

Stop buying through official channels. It’s not worth the price in any way. Places like DHGate offer excellent replicas, you just need to wait longer. You’re being scammed paying this much.
