Given that their group didn’t have a micro nation, they played 7.5 games and biggest win being 5-0 it’s very impressive

With the current striker market, he’s easily worth 100mil. Someone should snap him up. Preferably united.

14 goals… Number of assists made by:

    • KDB: ZERO out of Fourteen

    • Hazard (E.): ZERO out of Fourteen

I remember when Manchester United fanboys in denial kept saying that the INSANE amount of goals scored for Belgium were due to the fact that Lukaku was in a team with Eden Hazard and Kevin De Bruyne and every average striker could have scored tons of goals playing with those two.

Well congrats, you were right. Lukaku was the problem and it seems that Rashford Antony and Sancho have solved your scoring problems LOL ahahah

I mean he wasn’t exactly a starter for you guys last season and was a meme in the World Cup for Belgium and the UCL final for you guys.

He’s been called bang average by well more than just United fans lmao. I’m happy for him to be back to his scoring best and he’s always been a beast. That said a lot of the criticism around him is fair.

Lukaku has gotten a lot of underserved stick throughout his career imo. He is a remarkably consistent finisher at a top level and yes, he can put his foot in his mouth a lot of the time. But also people who meme his finishing don’t seem to understand that even good players can have bad games in front of goal. He might not be a Kane or a Lewa but he will get you goals.

He is a world class striker, such a shame that his press shenanigans cast a big shadow over his career

He needs to perform on the biggest stages to be considered world class. Football talks more than pressers, good or bad.

Look, I’ll always have a soft spot for him after that Farhad Moshiri voodoo rumours bullshit. He’s a pleasure to watch, and yeah he can put his foot in his mouth but I really appreciate how outspoken he’s been about racism while playing in Serie A, because fuck knows this country needs to hear it. I rate him.

Also ngl I love this street mural of him in Rome

Without him our attack is so much worse. People always said he was carried by having Hazard and De Bruyne in the team, but we manage quite well without them.
    Without Lukaku we are terrible.

Mad to think that despite playing for fucking Poland, Lewandowski held the Euros qualifiers record and still holds the World cup qualifiers record
