Wow, this is a perfect post for this sub! The actual execution of the tattooing is fucking fantastic - too bad the content is pure cringe.

This tattoo is lacking skeletons to propell it above the lowly cringe into noble post-cringe.

    Props to the artist.

If it was just the knife I’d declare this “metal as fuck” but the writing is pure nu-metal tho.

Not just any nu-metal. This is unwashed Korn t-shirt, poorly maintained white boy dreads, dirty jnco shorts, flame wallet (with chain) and ratty DC shoes nu-metal

Might as well just used the first line from Slipknot’s Disasterpiece, at least it’s not as emo.

It’s literally a misquoted line from Bring Me the Horizon’s Sleep With One Eye Open

If I had it my way I’d slit your throat
With the knife that you left in my back

That’s gonna be really edgy when he’s 87 at the nursing home, pushing a walker in his tank top.

I’m covered with no end of tattoos that are going to look dumb as fuck if I ever make it to that stage of life. I’ve never understood this logic/argument. How often do you look at a bare skinned octogenerian and think, “this dude looks fly as fuck. Must be that unadorned, albeit saggy and liver marked skin”

Dignity is a luxury if you make it to that age. Might as well enjoy my shit now

It’s a lot less about the tattoo and more about the content. I’ve got a tattoo as well, but mine doesn’t have some threat of violence.

What I thought was epic in my teens isn’t quite as cool now. Having gone through enough life, I’m pretty sure the trend continues.

That’s what I was getting at.

That’s why I can’t get a tattoo ever. Anything I thought was cool, 10 years later I’m like, that’s some juvenile shit.

That’s because in previous generations their only tattoo would be a heart with their wife’s name or a picture of the battleship they were stationed on. GenX/millennials got some cringey fucking tattoos, and they’re going to be exponentially cringier when they reach Depends age. Imagine a 90 year old woman with a tramp stamp

Is it all a tattoo or is it a tattoo and scarification? Would be awesome if the writing was a real scarification!
