Why people don’t think the West is at war right now is beyond me.
We’re being attacked economically.
We’re being attacked socially.
We’re being attacked via proxy countries.
We’re even being attacked physically on our own soil.
Russia, Iran, and with some China thrown in the Mix.
The world is at war right now.
I’ve been attacked socially and economically by the capitalist arseholes ruining my country.
China or Russia are not going to do more damage to me than my government or its ally (America) already has.
We’ve been in war forever, it’s called a class war and it’s the only one that matters.
You’ve never worked in China.
As rough as it is here, you could not imagine a life there, working 2x as hard for 1/2 as much hope.
They just have dramatically lower aspirations, specifically they aspire to live to have kids, at which point it’s all their problem.
The reason the West has gotten so much worse is now we have to compete with people who have literally nothing and would kill for 1/10th what we have. They’re just as capitalist as we are, they just include more direct violence in their interpretation of capitalism.
I aspire to have a roof over my head at old age, I can’t begin to imagine having children.

Oh no, Id have to have free healthcare, affordable housing, government job finding assistance, free education and vocational training wholly dependent on my grades, free addiction assistance should I fall into addiction, an economy built for resilience instead of catered to boom/bust cycles…

Sorry, which of those countries do you think have those? The vast majority of Chinese and Russian citizens in what the west would consider absolutely horrible conditions.
