I recently bought a Framework 13 mainboard with a CoolerMaster case and some accessories.

Everything went well until the day FedEx marked my package as delivered. I was not at home at the time (no calling or message, which is weird).

When I went back from work, the package was nowhere to be found. I contacted FedEx, which told me that I should contact the seller for more information, and that the delivery was made by a subcontractor (they did not want to give me a name…).

I then contacted the support, explained my situation and after some back and forth, FedEx contacted me to complete a statement of honor saying that I never received the package etc…

A day after, Framework support got back to me saying that FedEx internal situation concluded that the package was correctly delivered by their subcontractor.

The problem is that I never had it in my hands and never even saw the shadow of it… So either:

  • It was not delivered
  • Was delivered but stolen (I live in an apartment with no delivery box the size of the package, so I HOPE those idiots did not just put it in the corridor, or worst outside…)

In any case, I do not know what to do at this point. Do the community have suggestions about the next steps? I live in France if this can help.

Also, do you know if it is possible to ask not to use FedEx for future deliveries?

Edit (18/10/2024): I received a mail back from FedEx confirming that the package was not delivered, which contradicts what Framework had told me earlier.

I forwarded the mail to the support team asking for explanation and they offered to send me a new order and that they will investigate further with them.

Problem solved, thanks a lot for your advices and future delivery tips 😉
