User friendly I would agree. Definitely has the best UX. Not sure I would agree that it’s the cheapest though.

Could someone (politely) explain why anyone who criticizes steam gets absolutely scorched?
I mean I’m a user, on the PC it’s probably the platform I purchase on the most. I’ve also used Epic, GOG, and a few of the others. Like most, I’m getting pretty annoyed by having to load what seems like 15 different platforms to play a variety of games.
But I’ve never understood this blind absolute cult-like following of steam. What makes them absolutely beyond any reproach or criticism? Especially when at least Epic gives away lots of free games (like I think I’ve spent about $20 bucks on that platform, yet it seems like I have just about every game known to man in my library). Or others that don’t mess around with DRM, etc. So what gives?
Considering it’s made by Microsoft, I’m going to go out on a limb here and suggest it’s compatible with Windows. Specifically Windows 10 and 11 I believe.
Monetary policy makes the world go round, unfortunately.
I believe the ICC does have a dispute forum. But when you get to these IGOs, it’s unbelievable how many there are. Could probably bring the complaint forward in multiple other forums too.
Ah I get you, sorry, I stand corrected. Surely such a claim would come forward through the WTO though, would it not? Would the ICC (the Chamber of Commerce) have enough teeth as the forum for what’s surely a monumental case?
The ICC doesn’t have jurisdiction over civil matters. The ICC only has jurisdiction over the most egregious of war crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide, on a voluntary transnational basis (you have to be a signatory country, which I believe Argentina is).
Which PS was a damn good lawn mower
Look at buddy over here with the 1960s lawn boy
Except that a PC with modern specs costs over $2k to build. Comparing PCs to Consoles is a fools errand, yes of course it’s way better, because my gaming PC also cost five times as much to build.
I bought a PS5 earlier this year that’s just collecting dust. I guess I didn’t realize or appreciate until after purchase that there is very few actual PS5 titles. There is no way in hell I would consider a PS5 Pro with their current library.
I don’t think it matters in the long run. Make trash products, realize trash results.
Yeah I think we’ve learned by now that if you can’t touch it, you don’t own it. I’m tired of “leasing” software.
I forget the exact stat, but something like 67% of bankruptcies in the United States are largely due to medical related debts. Which makes it the leading cause of bankruptcies for US citizens.
That’s happened to me with a couple of phone apps too. Its infuriating.
I’m peak subscription overload. I’m looking for ways to turf a bunch of ours, I’m currently trying to prove to my wife that our IPTV sub has everything that she needs and the Netflix/Disney/Amazon/Paramount subs can all fuck off and die. Almost there.
Next up is the bike trainer, roadside assistance, fitness and music subs. I’ll keep Spotify because I like how it integrates with our car, but that’s the ONLY reason.
Why does it look like a PS2 game?
That time of year to drop $90 for roster updates again, is it?
This game still has bugs that it’s had for 10 years. Back in the day you used to skip a couple years and get a whole new game when you bought a new one. Not anymore, this franchise has been a turd for 10+ years at this point.
You will care when you have some heart pain, and a $194,000 hospital bill. Which would bankrupt 98% of UCP voters. That’s the part I can’t wrap my head around. You haven’t paid for shit when it comes to health care.
I work with Americans every day. One just went and had a baby and got a $19k hospital bill for the privilege. Copay this and copay that.
Careful what you wish for.
Honestly I don’t really know, and don’t really care. I enjoy sporadically using it, and I’ve enjoyed making both useful, and some useless things.
Trust me, I’ve spent far more on dumber shit that I use half as often.
RTO just means “layoffs” under a different branding. These gross companies know how to be extra gross. When they really want to actually do a big layoff, that’s when they’ll roll out the “RTO” policy.
