This is good to know. Sweden’s climate is very close to where I live in the US (a little colder I think) and I know I’ve always thought the tech wasn’t there yet for places that actually have 4 seasons.

You are technically correct, which I hear is the best kind. Equating this individuals self-immolation to draw attention to and emphasize the situation in Gaza to someone who is struggling with mental health is disingenuous.
That’s a convenient way to dismiss something that doesn’t fit your view.
As a casual Wes Anderson fan I feel like this list is organized by general popularity rather than from a hardcore Wes Anderson fan perspective, which in my opinion is a flawed approach. The less generally popular films I’ve been exposed to have been the more enjoyable to me.
Since it’s civil asset forfeiture what actually happens is the state/municipality sues to take the money so it has to be fought in court against the state/municipality.
The problem is the state sues the money directly so the suit itself would be something like Indiana vs. $48,000 or Marion County vs. $48,000. This makes it a lot harder and more expensive to recover your money since they are suing an inanimate object, not the owner directly.
Civil asset forfeiture laws need to be scrapped and rewritten because this has been going on in the US for years.
Ironic, I just watched Rebel Ridge which outlines this exact problem with civil asset forfeiture.
FedEx is a private company providing delivery services. I’m not a lawyer but I’m guessing the statute you’re referencing only applies to USPS.
End of your comment:
Is that the book?
Beginning of mine:
Yeah.
Not sure why you’re confused.
Yeah. Basically there’s this on going war, the Ant War, with any like alien creatures. There’s high casualty cost like in Starship Troopers and the main character is infantry. Most infantry only survive a couple drops but he’s done like 60 or something.
It’s in my queue to read again.
Isn’t the President visiting Los Angeles right now?
That steer is going to come back and haunt his ass for such disrespect!
Allowed is probably a better choice. I know it’s a synonym but it’s simpler terminology. Permissible often gives the impression of permission given, even though no permission is given.
You know this user and that corvid of the night user are the same person, right?
Yesterday we were shopping at Target and in the frozen aisle they had a sign for the Favorite Day ice cream sandwiches, “Everyday low price $4.99”.
The price on the shelf label, $4.69. Whoops!
You seem to have a lot of anger. I hope you find a positive way to manage that.
For me it’s Original Gourmet Lollipops. Anything else I have a tendency to set down and forget about.
While this is true in some cases I’m still waiting on concrete evidence the moon landing was fake.
If they would have spent the same amount of money
They did spend the same because they were getting the deal phones from their provider. You’ll have to bear in mind this switch was about 10 years ago.
I think what you’re saying contributes to why this Android/Apple discussion is still going on.
The level of Android device varies based on cost affecting the experience. If you buy an Apple you don’t have that issue because all their devices run relatively the same and are expensive. They don’t have a “cheap” option.
Oh the irony of the article being about Cheeto’s dictator comment and the user you’re replying to being upset Biden isn’t behaving like a dictator.
Yes, all are welcome in Minnesota, even in those rural areas. There are some backwards people but, as a lifelong Minnesotan, I choose to believe its just because they haven’t met or known any trans people themselves.
