Hopefully this meets reputable news source requirements, as Declassified UK is a well known investigative news group with a heavy focus on political UK corruption.

Yeah, “hit with” has always been bizarre passive voice wording. The executives in charge were the ones who actively decided to lay off people.
I didn’t know the courts could just say “no strike”. Aren’t most strikes by definition going against the rules?
I mean, even if it had done well, I feel like they would still be laying people off anyways, just to pad out their end of year revenue presentations.
They’re seriously trying to claim that none of the drones actually hit anything and all of the damage we’re seeing (the rather extensive damage) is all just “debris” from them downing the drones.
Sure, Jan, sure.
The “group of individuals” was the local movement company. They were assisting getting to the destination and there was no evidence that they made any hostile actions. That’s what ANERA says in this article even. So they didn’t admit to any of the made up nonsense that IDF or this Times of Israel article is claiming.
That’s some high tier psychological damage right there.
Haaretz is the only real source of coverage of such opposing voices. And the Israeli government has already been trying to make moves to have them be shut down for daring to not support the will of the government.
There’s definitely people protesting in Israel and have been since the start. But it is indeed unclear on whether they’re protesting regarding their government’s actions in Gaza or just protesting against Netanyahu more generally (which they had also been doing prior to all this anyways).
I honestly feel like if the national powers at the time had been actually serious about the Jewish people deserving a homeland after the horrors of the Holocaust, then Israel should have been created out of a portion of western Germany.
So the government can force you to go into surgery to remove something from your brain now?
So, CNN didn’t actually do any background checking to make sure they were talking to actual undecided group members.
I am honored that you’d break your 2 week fast of commenting on anything to comment here.
It’s the same time period that I posted yesterday’s thread. It had 30+ upvotes and multiple comments within half an hour. I did expect this post to get less traction overall, but I wasn’t expecting a combined lack of comments and massive down-voting.
Of course, considering the state of this group at the moment, with a bunch of threads posted trying to criticize any form of protest at the DNC, I suppose it’s rather telling where posters here stand on any form of criticism of this sort, even if minor.
How does the headline seem like any form of assault? It doesn’t even mention an assault. You have to read it to find out what it’s referring to. And it’s quite obvious from the first paragraph that the “worst way possible” is referring to people at the DNC trying to cover up and get rid of any form of opposing views.
Sounds more like you want to obfuscate, for some reason. Those “couple of assholes” should be called out, not glossed over.
So, signs being flexible means attempts to get rid of and cover them don’t matter? And hitting someone with a sign purposefully (two people really, since it also hits the woman next to her) is fine if you’re unable to get leverage to hit harder? They’re just playful taps, I suppose?
I decided to do a test. This is the same news outlet as the article I posted yesterday, that one being critical of Trump. It was massively upvoted, lots of comments and conversation. Great!
Then there’s this one. Similar topic, but not even criticizing Biden or Harris, the first line made that clear. But it’s criticizing people at the DNC that were, as one major example, physically violent toward people holding a “Stop Arming Israel” sign. Horrible stuff, the guy should be arrested for assault.
And, what happens? No comments after half an hour and massively downvoted.
So, yeah, y’all fail the test. You’re blatant hypocrites and it’s sad.
Please, please let them all ship themselves to Siberia.
So, criticizing you for raping a child is “bullying” you? I don’t think the claimed rehabilitation happened. He should still be in jail.
This group is probably better, but I’ve had some weird removals over at world@lemmy.world. Like, the other day I posted an article about China’s banks cracking down on any loans being given to Russian companies. And the article was in the business newspaper Vedomosti and the mods removed it for being a “questionable source” and never replied when I asked them why.
