I’ve been traveling all across the US in an EV and haven’t had any issues with range in the winter. Colorado mountains during ski season, Wyoming, Idaho, Montana in the spring. The built in navigation routes you to chargers based on current conditions and I’ve seen minimal range drop.
That’s part of the disinformation campaign against competition for legacy auto and gas. There is a lot of money going into telling you the new option is worse…
We used to call them Ag-Nags (AGNG’s)… all gear, no game. It was a derogatory term, but it was more reserved for the type of person that would go buy the best gear and never invest the time to learn how to use it or why it had value other than the sticker price.
Go out and learn something new. Enjoy something new. If you have money to buy gear, that’s fine… but know that most people that pioneered whatever sport/hobby your delving into did a lot more with a lot less. Enjoy it for what it is and worry about the gear less… sometimes the squeeze makes the juice that much better.

That IS the issue in American politics. As much as you believe people should be in tune with what is going on, politically speaking… they aren’t. Middle America gets sound bites and moves on. A lot of misinformation hits with them because they aren’t paying attention to how messed up politics actually is.
Things like presidential debates are worth tuning in to because it’s a single event (or 3) where you can get a condensed amount of information from the candidates. Most people don’t saturate their lives with politics. Things are changing because of social media, but that’s not necessarily for the better. Most people just want to live without the weight of the world on their shoulders all the time.
False. Any good lounge should have you reclined and looking naturally towards the joint between the wall and ceiling. Having a tv that is at eye line while you are sitting vertically is not comfortable when you are lounging. You end up crooking your neck down.
It’s apples and oranges for how you prefer to lounge, but I hate TVs placed even with eye-level while I’m standing if I am in a legit lounge. I recognize that other people like to be more vertical while they sit, as I’ve had this argument with a close friend… but for me, the lounge is king.

No, but he is finding out why twitter had all of its policies on combatting misinformation before he took over and gutted the staff… to prevent getting sued. You can say anything you want in America and the government can’t tell you that you aren’t allowed to say it, but you are still accountable for the damages caused by what you say… just ask Alex Jones.
But operating in other countries doesn’t afford the same protections from government scrutiny.
Disinformation campaigns are part of the reason social media is causing as much social strife in the world. It is not outside a logical line of thought that governments are going to attempt to minimize the damages from platforms like Twitter when they can. You may not beat misinformation, but you can minimize the financial incentive to promote it if you fine the fuck out of it when you find it.
It’s hard, but an adventure. You’re betting on yourself. You get to win the wins, but you lose the losses too. Work hard and hang in there. Find a place in your market and keep grinding. Learn and grow and don’t be afraid to change your mind about problem solving, as issues come up. Best wishes.

If the guy that initiated the lawsuit had only 9 shares, the decision was ultimately overturned when stockholders voted to reinstate Musk’s compensation package, and the lawsuit didn’t do any tangible thing to create value for the shareholders, why would anyone be on the hook for paying this firm’s legal bill other than the guy that initiated the lawsuit?
No one deserves to make the kind of money Musk is pulling down, but I can at least see an argument about him being in a leadership position at a company that is generating a lot of capital because that’s how our shitty system works. The lawyers are trying to have shareholders pay their fees based on present value of stock when they had no impact on how that stock got to that price, and Musk’s compensation package means the stock the lawyers are claiming to have saved from going to musk… are still going to Musk…
What am I missing?
Cognac is essentially distilled alcohol from grapes… think about using wine to make distilled alcohol. I’m not positive, but I think I t was originally a way monks thought they could preserve wine through distillation and reconstitute it back into wine at a later time, but turns out not to have worked like that. Once you boil off the alcohol and discard the mash, you don’t get the ‘wine’ part back.
It’s just a different base to ferment and distill into a hard spirit. Because it starts as a sweeter fruit than grains, like rye, wheat, or barley, it tends to have a sweeter flavor. It’s particularly nice as a warm drink in the winter, but a bit sweeter than bourbon.
The ‘making the food’ and ‘handing it to you’ is the price of the good. A tip is for how well they do that service and the atmosphere and experience they provide in the exchange.
If you have counter service and don’t clean up the table after me, there isn’t much opportunity for you to have good enough service to warrant a tip.
