Following a successfully hosted and record-breaking FIFA Women’s World Cup Australia New Zealand 2023™, which welcomed nearly two million people to matches across Australia and New Zealand, Football Australia is ambitious to bring more major tournaments to our shores. We have explored the opportunity to bid to host the FIFA World Cup™ and - having taken all factors into consideration - we have reached the conclusion not to do so for the 2034 competition.
After the great success of the Womens World Cup here, there was a lot of hope for the future of the game and the prospect of at least bidding for the men’s world cup. However, it’s clear FIFA has already made up their mind that Saudi Arabia will be the host, so no point wasting time and money. What a joke though. Playing a few games in Uruguay in 2030 so they can tick off all 3 of Europe, Africa and SAmerica ‘hosting’ a WC in one go so they can immediately get back to the Gulf countries is such thinly veiled corruption. Very disappointing.

Infantino is just a bald Blatter, with even more corruption and funny face.
