Hi everyone,

I am looking for recommendations for a simple gigabit router. I had a ER-X from ubiquiti but it failed on me and another one I ordered came dead from the factory.

I was thinking on getting the TP-LINK ER605 (TL-R605) V2 as they are on the same price range

Would you recommend it or is there a better budget option?

My use case is to put it between my gateway (bridged) and my household network, I need 4 LAN ports and could be a custom solution too, I am well-versed with computers, etc.
