The Premier League's Independent Key Match Incidents Panel has ruled the referee and the VAR were correct to award Newcastle United's winning goal against Arsenal.
All the arsenal fans crying about “only 3-2 against Bruno” completely ignoring 5-0 against havertz, and absolutely perplexed that the thought that Bruno might not have done that if havertz was sent off.
Well I think Bruno foul is the only one that EVERYONE here agrees. Thats why it’s so ridiculous they don’t ”see” it as a no brainer red but see a more objective Havertz foul as one.
LOL. Because anyone with 2 eyes can see that Bruno’s forearm smash on Jorginhos head is a far worse offense because he doesn’t have the intention to play the ball and he actually hit him with his forearm.
Havertz on the other hand, although reckless, didn’t hit with the leading foot, he only clattered the NUFC player with the trailing leg.
If Havertz connected with the studs up, then it’s a straight red.
Seems to me like Newcastle deserve an apology - 5-0 saying Havertz should have been sent off is pretty damn clear cut.
