    there isn’t enough to award a foul as Gabriel had made an action to play the ball before any contact

    Remember, that if a player tries to play the ball, it’s not a foul. This just is further proof how out of their depth they are, that their verdict contradicts 120 years of precedent. They are just making things up as they go along.

    The panel is not fit for purpose if they say there is no foul on Gabriel, and if Guimaraes is not 5-0 a clear red. You don’t see many more obvious red card offenses than that in the game.

    It’s not about protecting players; and it’s not about protecting the sport. It’s about minimizing and finding excuses for clear errors committed by the officials.
