I have a gigabit networking in my home. The first floor routers runs fine no issue. 150up and 150down. I have a switch on the first floor. The wire from first floor switch to ground floor router comes with the electrical wire 240v 50hz in the same pipe (No Sperate pipe for Cat6). The ground floor router not work fine. It has a max speed I see is 38mb around. The total wire length is 90feet (30m). We have a cemented home with flat roof. So, no attic. If I use a media converter with fiber running through electrical wires will solve the issue?.
