Over the past 15 years we see very high point totals. We did not used to see this in prior years. Teams used to get like 70-75 points to win, now even top 4 can require as many. The top point totals in the top leagues are all recent.

I know that wins used to count as 2 which is a huge factor because teams played for a draw. Is that the only factor?
