He’s rarely average, he’s either world class or causes utter havoc in our defense by pushing up because Gabriel can’t cover the whole left side sometimes.

He’s our Trent, if we’re dominating he’s one of our best players if we’re on the back doors he’s one of our worst. Double edged sword

He did get rinsed that one time that generated a good chance for them but that isn’t counted in these numbers.

I’m going to tag on this comment to say, (maybe it’s the hair) but I kind of feel like he plugged in the hole left by Odegaard really nicely this game. It’s so good to see.

I think our performance yesterday is top 3 of the season GIVEN how many first teamers we are missing.

This is the game that shows me the team and the whole squad has really improved over last year.

And we haven’t even had our dynamite of a new signing Timber with us.

I think this style of play will give us more consistent results. Blitzing opponents from the first minute is very difficult to sustain and inconsistent. With a few injuries, you also get fucked. But with this style of play, it’s easier for guys to plug in from the bench. And it’s less tiring overall.

Last season we played klopp ball. This season we’re playing pep ball.

I love to see arteta adapt, because god knows some managers are stubborn assholes.

I have said it before, he gets tons of stick for being poor defensively because he is just amazing everywhere else.
