I am getting back into mini painting after being away for 25 years.

I bought a Gundam and an Armada ship from Mantic the other day so I can sort of figure out what I like to paint now. Years ago I was all over Epic 40k, and BattleFleet Gothic.

I was looking at base coating, and noticed that the GW spray paints are 25$ a piece… which is flipping insane! Sadly it was all the store had.

What do you all recommend?

    I personally haven’t used spray primer in years now, but the recommendations I always got were for Rustoleum. It works great and is widely available for a reasonable price. Especially if you’re just looking to get started again.

      Awesome, thank you, I will hit lowes tomorrow and pick some up. I need to get some yard stuff as it is.
