Dont even blame Sancho, id hate being benched or not even in the squad and watching ETH unconditionally start Rashford every game. People banter Hojlund for not scoring in the PL when he has 5 goals in the CL and Rashford has 1 in all competitions, that is hilarious to me
Sancho has been far worse than both of them when he has played though. Goals isn’t everything. Even if goals were everything, sancho has only mustered 9 goals in 59 games. In the same time period rashford have scored 36 in 104.
Hojlund have 5 in 15.
Rashford scores in 34.6% of his games, Hojlund scores in 33% of his games and sancho comes in at a whooping 15.2% of his games. Playing sancho would be the hilarious option mate.
Sancho’s problems are dating back to his City days. Apparently he couldn’t be bothered to be on time back then, a reason why City moved him on.
Same issues with Dortmund.
It’s been reported that Ten Hag had to tell him that meetings start earlier than they did, in the hope that he might be on time.
Not sure if he played a full 90 as a United player so far, and whenever he started he looks gased after about an hour. While not even giving his all for that hour.
If he trains the same way + constantly late, there is no reason he should see more gametime.

He is benched for being late to training, and other disciplinary issues. Nothing to do with his performance on the pitch.
