Leno should be legimiately considered here. Szczesny and Ramsdale were keepers for good teams, but Leno had some absolute shite in front of him and saved us from embarrassment on multiple occations with some insane performances.
Honestly when I watch Fulham play I am constantly reminded of just how damn good Leno was for us. One of the best pure shotstoppers in the league.
Obviously, he wouldn’t make it into our team now as his distribution and playing out from the back isn’t good. But purely as a goalkeeper he is still right up there.
Leno didn’t leave that long ago. After having dodgy keepers for a while he was a breath of fresh air. He was a great keeper. Our last 4 goalkeepers have been unbelievable in quality
