Because he has talent and comes with a price discount, thanks to all the dramas that happened between him and Ten Hag. If he instead wants to salvage his career he could pick any club playing in champions league where he could be in the starting XI and sign a contract for a lower wage but good rewards for games played, goals and assist. Juventus have Chiesa as a left winger so not a smart move to go there (although he is prone to get injured).

They cost millions to sign then have a 5 or 6 year deal and in that time can just be idiots and the club is stuck. Your investment goes up in smoke, and you are tied by a contract which you can’t get out of. I would insist that in any contract if a player is on disciplinary action he goes down to half pay.
