Lets admit we all love passion merchants and every team has one, the glue guys who arent very gifted but through their grit, work rate and passion manage to win the hearts of fans (and the manager) so who is your team’s passion merchant this can also apply to your national team.
Terzic-.-
Will Hughes. Not devoid of talent but loved mostly because he puts himself about
Has to be Sonny, even rival fans love him. The difference is he’s world class at the same time
You’re supposed to name someone who isn’t good technically and try hard hence why their probably in the squad. Dier rings a bell for me. I think other managers have said Dier is a worker. It’d also be someone like Maguire for United imo.
For Tottenham it’s probably Pedro porro
Porro is a good shout. Romero also has a lot of passion…just a bit too much sometimes
Feels like Dries Mertens
Gavi 100%. Araujo is also a fair shout
araujo is a very gifted defender. Its gavi 100% and I love him for that
Gavi is gifted as hell wtf. The talent that he has is crazy. There’s a reason he’s a guaranteed starter for both Barcelona and the Spanish NT at 19.
Son… Right amount of passion. Would say Romero is up there…but sometimes a bit too much passionate…
Connor Gallagher. I absolutely love the guy. He’s been at Chelsea since he was a little child. He plays whatever midfield role we need him to, I swear this guy also never runs out of stamina. I haven’t seen someone that presses so relentlessly for the full 90 in some time. Turned down a guaranteed starting spot at other premier league clubs to fight for his place in the Chelsea team, and due to his performances this season, he’s probably earned himself a new contract.
Goretzka
It has to be gavi for barca
Socceroos kept Martin Boyle in the World Cup squad despite being injured to simply be the “vibes manager”. Seemed to work well, best result at a cup since 06
Pierre Emile Hojbjerg
LORD VAZQUEZ
Newcastle - the entire team
Joelinton is the passion merchant of the passion merchants though
up until this year it was Aaron Ramsdale. But poor boy got the wind taken out of his sails.
