Step 1: Install and activate Yoast SEO Plugin**

Go to your WordPress admin page.
In the left menu, hover over “Plugins” and select “Add New”.
Search for “Yoast SEO” in the search box in the upper right corner.
When found, click the “Install Now” button and then click “Activate” to activate the plugin.

Step 2: Go to Yoast SEO Settings

In the menu on the left, hover over “SEO” and select “General”.
Click the “Features” tab.

Step 3: Enable XML Sitemap

Find the “XML sitemaps” entry in the feature list and click the “Question mark” button in its right corner.
In the popup window, click the “See the XML sitemap” button to access the XML Sitemap configuration options.

Step 4: Configure XML Sitemap

In the XML Sitemap configuration page, you can customize settings such as how often to update, how often to prioritize, and what types of content to include in the sitemap.
Browse through the options and adjust to your needs.
When you’re done, click the “Save Changes” button.

Step 5: Check XML Sitemap

To check your XML Sitemap, click the “See the XML sitemap” link in the XML Sitemap configuration page.
This will display your XML Sitemap content in the browser.
You can also access your sitemap URL by adding “/sitemap_index.xml” to your site’s root URL.
