    Fuck him, RVP, Song and others who wanted out when we needed them the most. Our club is for people who wants to play for us only. Let them enjoy their success and money, which is all they care about anyways. Legacy is built not bought.

        I get it everyone wants money. But he shouldnt come back to us like he was some sort of anywhere near a legend as if he loved our club more than the money.

    Fuck you dude … more than the move itself it was how he did that… wearing barca jersey, going for peanuts… all while being the club captain and with the team built around him and RVP… having lived through that period it still hurts… so yes thanks for the memories but plz stop with bs romanticism…

    This might be controversial but in hindsight I don’t have a massive issue with Cesc. Yes he acted badly to get his move but it was his dream move to his boyhood club from a team that was struggling. Yes it’s shit he went to Chelsea but bringing him back was not a good idea for us, it was over by then and Wenger didn’t want him. Probably get downvoted but I still quite like him, especially as he seems to love his time at arsenal the most 🤷‍♂️

    I think he means he wishes he could have stayed longer but just couldnt. The club werent ambitious enough at the time to win major titles.

    The worlds best team with the worlds best player came knocking. He knew them all from the national team and some of his best friends were there from his academy days.

    Im probably in the minority but I dont begrudge him in the slightest for leaving. I was still absolutely gutted (ive never been so gutted for any other player leaving) and dont hold him as an Arsenal great as a result.

    I would have done the same thing in his position
