I won the league with Birmingham out of nowhere, i thought finishing 9th the season before was an underdog triumph lol. Wasn’t even top 6 for the first half of the season but won 17 out of 19 matches in the second half.
Been slowly and patiently upgrading my keyboards over the last few years. Waiting months at a time checking eBay daily for bargains. Buy cheap, use for a while to further dial in what I want from a board, then sell for profit to fund the next one.

Met Jack Wilshere recently on a flight. Thought it was him during boarding when I walked through business class, but with his head down I wasn’t sure. Then towards the end of the flight, he walked to the back and was stuck in “human traffic” right in front of my seat, so I just said, “Hi Jack, huge Arsenal fan.” and shook his hand.

It’s so annoying when you have teammates who are ‘seniors’ with more than a decade worth of experience being incompetent idiots. They absolute don’t pull their weight for what they earn. Ngl, It’s demoralizing and I hate working with people like that.
Wonder how that translates to football as well, do teammates go and complain to their manager or they just suck it up and drag the dead weight for the team.
And to be absolutely clear, this is not an indirect slander aimed at any player I just wanted to vent my frustration.
two weeks now since job loss and done nothing. motivation is gone, not helped by the fnd. my laptop also karked itself so have lost all my data (still have the old datachip) which means my years of book records that i read have gone - i know i should have made a backup
Yeh I learnt the hard way about not backing up. My laptop fell off the toilet a few years back (don’t ask) and I lost years of work and photos.
Im now lying in bed upset Sambi isn’t going to work out because I realized we could have used the thong song for his song.

Jagex spend way too much time pandering to the niche audiences (Ironman, UIM etc) of the game which is ironic as those players literally signed up to their limitations and handicaps. Everyone else just gets shafted.
Leagues and DMM are ace products though.

I’m patiently waiting for Black Friday so I can get a new TV. I’m trying to nab an LG C3 42". Imagine I’ve never even had a 4K tv. Ready to be blown away!
I’ve been out of work for a few months due to my industry having a second consecutively shite year. Currently training to be a driving instructor but the bloody test dates are so scarce it’s dragging things on far longer than need be. Be that as it may, I don’t think I want to be a driving instructor really, just giving it a go as it seems fairly stable and it should give me a degree of freedom to study something else if I need or wish to.
I’m hoping that I discover I really enjoy it, being an instructor would be my 4th career change. There is at least one more change as I vowed to do the TEFL and go to somewhere in either Asia or Africa when I hit 50 which isn’t far away, but do I have the energy for a 6th is the question? Of course I do, retirement isn’t for the likes of me!
When I was younger, I imagined at my age I’d be financially secure, have a house, car, wife and children. I have precisely zero of these, but I do have a bike, nephews, and love my own solitude way too much. I think I’ve begun rejecting a lot of ideas that I thought were mine but were dictated to me. As the great philosopher Ezio Auditore da Firenze once said, nothing is true, everything is permitted

According to the mods, saying killing is wrong no matter the reason so Israel and Hamas should be condemned is zionism. The mods have yet to provide further comment.

Hahhaaaaa I can’t even play video games because that was my ex and I’s shared hobby, I go from hating her to wanting her back to hating her again. I need to move on and stop being so desperate but I can’t. I guess this is the sign to stop playing video games and get a real hobby.
