I need hope, has there been any players who have torn their cruciate ligament but come back to their original form after their injuries?

    Also fuck De La Puente.

Milik. He tore both in a span of 2 years. He was shit before the injuries and is shit to this day, so he returned to his original form

Fairly few attacking midfielders might be reassuring - Xavi, Roy Keane, Totti and especially Baggio all injured young and came back strong. This study on UEFA players is interesting - except for forwards, player performance generally returned by 3rd season after injury. So odds are Gavi has a long road back but should get there

Yeah that reassures me Gavi is going to be ok! Hope he doesn’t rush his recovery and instead comes back at 100%!

Gundogan, Pedri and Frenkie were actually supposed to be our main starters this season but with Pedri and Frenkie getting injured Gavi had to start many of our games this season. I am sure when he comes back he will be one of our undisputed starters and probably next in line for selection as Captain!

Lahm, Wirtz, Sane, Xavi, Del Pierro, Totti, (RVN, Azpi, Diogo Coasta, Boniface)

Elite players with elite game intelligence will always come back.

Van Dyke is looking scary as hell at the minute. Was a long time out and then took a fair bit to get back in form though.

Weirdly, this maybe a worse injury for a younger player.

Roy Keane, in many ways he said it was the making of him as it forced him to become hyper focused on recovery, diet and such, we did the treble the year he came back
