So I’m on a 256gb Snapdragon S21Fe. Don’t get me wrong, the phone is really smooth, takes good pictures and video and I haven’t had issues with it, unless we count the battery life. I find it awful, I usually get 4.5 hrs of SOT and sometimes it’s much worse than that.
My birthday is coming up in the winter and I’m thinking of getting a base S23 just because of battery life. I can’t really afford an S23+ or Ultra.
How is the battery life on the base S23? I know it’s not a big upgrade from my S21Fe performance/camera wise but what about battery?
It’s pretty nice, better than my S21 Ultra 5G. I have the S23 Ultra with 256gb. Also I have it set up as to no charge past 85% to protect a little bit the lifespan of the battery. I also use it until it is almost dead to charge it again. That also helps. Good luck 🙏
I think it’s not recommended using your phone to almost 0 percent battery in long term.
The 0% thing was actually for older phones. It kept them from damaging the battery. With these newer phones it is good practice to wait until they are around 20% to start charging it again and not go past 85% . The phones itself bring that option ( at least Androids or S versions that I know of ) 👍
Stay between 15 and 85
If u want better battery health turn off fast charging.
The battery hates being fully empty
