So many young players today all state Ronaldo as an influence for them. Messi has more accolades than Ronaldo, but the only young players I can think that stated him as an influence is Julian Alvarez and Jude Bellingham. Why do you think most young players respect and admire Ronaldo more than Messi?

I am old enough to have seen both Ms play live. Maradona was closer to messi than CR7 but they had totally different styles and manners in which they dominated games. Messi >>> Maradona as a team player and that’s what I cherish about Leo the most. Maradona was an abs alien technically for sure.
