We’re looking for something very simple to keep general track of our 10 year-old. He does not have a cell phone. We basically want to make sure he gets from school to his afterschool place - and a few other locations. Just peace of mind. We don’t need an emergency button or anything fancy.

My wife and I both have Samsung Galaxy phones. Could we use a Samsung Galaxy SmartTag2 for this? If we put it in his backpack would it work (at least showing us where his backpack is)?
