So im getting a new internet line and it’s 1.5Gbps - my wireless router is only 1Gbps. Would it be viable to go from the ISP provided gateway into a 2.5Gbps unmanaged switch that then plugs into my PC and wifi router in bridge mode? Will the modem/gateway be able to assign IPs to the devices connected through switch/AP?
