About 2 years ago I started using and even paid for a license for 4K Downloader. It was nice because I could copy and paste a few links to videos from a channel and it would allow me to download the whole channel from there. I could even have it run in smart mode or whatever it’s called so any new videos from channels I had previously pulled, would auto download at whatever quality I set. Is there any good replacement for this? I like the automation portion quite a bit

Use jdownloader 2
I use jDownloader 2 mostly. Just grab the video, playlist or channel’s URL, paste it in jDownloader 2 and you’re good to go.
I also paid for it. It doesn’t work like this anymore ? I haven’t tested recently

If you can follow the installation guide it’ll work fine but no promises on when I get the next set of features implemented (trying to integrate meilisearch into it.)
Otherwise I recommend cli yt-dlp.
