The 4-4-2 formation (or variations of it), whilst limiting in midfield, produced some incredible strike partnerships over the years. Aguero & Forlan, Henry & Bergkamp, Yorke & Cole to name a few.
Which two players that played at different times do you think would make the best partnership, or at least which would you most like to have seen? Personally, as an England man, I think Kane & Owen playing as a 2 up top would have been great to watch. They compliment each others styles well. Who would you pick?
It wouldn’t work well… And I base that solemnly on the fact that when you put two players with 20 in Creativity together on top in my manager game, it never works out :)
