While I’m not a perfect commentator by any means, I’ve had a knack for performing commentary from time to time, even at my school annual sports day (Let’s conveniently leave the fact that majority of the students would be mad at me for performing commentary in English and not in Hindi 🤭) but I did try to figure out from time to time about what could be done to get noticed as a commentator.

One thing that I started to do was perform commentary over simulated games in FIFA (particularly based on the schedule of their real life counterparts) such as ( https://youtu.be/8hCBRV1zUNQ?feature=shared ) in the hope that someone would notice me. However, I thought of asking the same over here.

So what steps can I take in the hopes that someday I could land as a mainstay commentator for some major broadcasting corporation, such as (hopefully) Sky Sports or BT Sport, and judging by the sample that I have shared, what are the areas I can improve in?
