Anybody have any tips for me on catching largemouth bass? I know for a fact they are in my pond. The water has maybe a foot of visibility, at least on the shore. I’ve seen them hit them top and I’ve heard they’ll strike a senko, but I’ve had no luck. I’ve tried texas rigs, wacky worms, a top water walker, a frog, and buzz bait and I’ve not even had a strike in the 7 days I’ve been out fishing there. What am I doing wrong??

@drdiemz try a popper, slider, grasshopper, frog or similar terrestrial on a fly rod. Make sure you’re out there at dusk and your throwing at the edges of cover so they can dart out and grab it. You don’t necessarily need a lot of action on the fly-just let it sit for a while. I’ve gotten strikes by wiggling the rod tip to make it look like it’s swimming/trying to get away bass are like little pond sharks and they react accordingly. Hope this helps!
