I’m interested in the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 since it seems like a pretty good value. but I’m at a crossroads. should I get the 6 GB of RAM option or the 8? it is ~50$ more expensive than the 6 GB one.

is the 2 extra GB worth it? I’ll mostly do reading and writing notes on it since I personally prefer a laptop for video watching.

I think ill get the 8 GB version since I’ll be using the thing for 5 years at least. but I wanted your opinions.

I’m a power user so I’d go for the 8 gigs. But it doesn’t make a difference. Android does not use 8 gigs for anything. Of you are using alot of apps at the same time then yeah it’s nice but the 6 gigs can handle that as well ( not even games will past 6 gigs.)

No matter how much ram a device has android operates with what it’s programmed to do. So if it closes apps at when ram is past 5 gigs it will do the same with 8 gigs even though it has the ram to do more.

So to me personally the six gigs doesn’t do anything more than the eight gigs.

That being said if the device has a couple years of updates I’d go with the 8 gigs incase android gets more demanding.

    Hope this helps.
