I just don’t get what is to be gained as a supporter from pointing out ‘blatant mediocrity’. And that’s without querying what your standards of mediocrity are.

We’re off the back of a title challenging season, very clearly in the midst of another one, one of our new players hasn’t hit the ground running as much as we’d like, and there is a decent portion of our ‘fanbase’ who can’t leave the topic alone, and show zero signs of wanting to support him.

You choose to follow the game and who to support, you acknowledge as a competitive sport that there are going to be highs and lows, and yet the only burning topic some people can come up with is how disappointed they are? Choose another bloody hobby.

And anyone who says ‘I want him to succeed I’m just tired of this’ or anything to that effect is being completely disingenuous. To look at how we’re playing now compared to the VERY recent past and acting like we’re not being spoilt is frankly bizarre.

Your last paragraph is the difference between a winning mentality and pure losers.

We have been playing better football than when we were 5th and 8th but thats not hard to do. How are we spoilt for wanting to be better than last season? It’s a fact we are playing worse this season due to the lack of progression in the midfield.

People like you dont hold the players or club accountable because you think back to when we were shit, its like a beaten housewife.

Who are you to tell people to go and find a new hobby because their ambition for the club is higher than yours. Some people want to win things and not be happy to be there.
