I feel that when he first burst onto the scene he was this ultra explosive winger who would knock the ball 20 feet out and chase it and ut felt like he was constantly at 100mph

But the more i watch him play now he preserves his explosiveness more… he still is THAT FAST he only uses it when necessary. Far better at linkup play and off ball positioning to get into ideal positions and doesn’t try to take on his man as much as he once did in the past but instead just finds space with out the ball.

Yes, he say it in a French Tv, he want to switch to a playmaker role.

Not sure if that’s good because PSG fans don’t want him to play this role.

He has always been smart and a great passer. At Monaco, some of his best plays were precise crosses and link-up play

Yep, I noticed a change in his playstyle too. Bit less direct and always looking for the pass more. Also drops deeper to link up passes with his midfielders. Nice watching him play.

Mbappé is shifting from pure speed and raw talent to a more cerebral game, much like CR7 did. It’s not just about outpacing defenders now; it’s about strategic positioning, timing his runs, and honing his playmaking skills. This transition could very well extend his peak years, a savvy move echoing Ronaldo’s successful adaptation for long-term dominance

He idolizes Ronaldo and got to play with Messi. He knows what he must do to reach the top and stay there for years like they did. I’m excited for him

Pretty much, yeah. Mbappe literally just combined their playstyles might be crazy in the future when he hones it a bit more.

He doesn’t need a bigger club … last season he was playing alongside Messi and Neymar. You can’t beat that! The French league is already at least level with the overrated EPL and in many ways far far superior. The EPL is unfit for purpose and not much more than a Farmers League now. The wealthiest maybe but also the most corrupt and the tackiest. Mbappe is doing just fine as he is … his game is much more cerebral nowadays and he is a big influence during the games to the younger players. He’s the greatest in the world just now and will only improve. Only Real Madrid or Barca could improve his status.
