How are you going to quantify that?

Gerrard for instance inspired an entire team in the 2005 Final. But I’ve seen Sunday League players do the same and play out of their skins to pull a performance out of nowhere.

There’s going to be any number of candidates.

Rivaldo vs Valencia. Last game of the season to carry Barcelona to a CL spot. Honestly one of the best, most complete performances ever

Thierry Henry vs Inter Milan, 1-5 away from home as well stands out

I scored 5 against the local rivals on my debut for a new Under 9s team.

Ignoring the Premier League bias here, that has to be up there. Certainly the best debut ever.

The most recent example that comes to mind is Courtois in the UCL final against Liverpool, guy was unbelievable. The one that sticks out to me was Ronaldinho vs Madrid in I think it was elclassico 2005 or 06 in the Bernabeu - the teams were stacked - Zidane, R9, Raul, Beckham, Eto, Ronaldinho, Iniesta, Messi, Xavi…what a game.
