I have not always been a big football guy, but since a few years ago I have been way more into it. The only league I pay super close attention to is the premier league, and only follow a few teams in the other leagues. I am going to be living in Firenze for a while and am wondering what jerseys would be a bad idea to wear there? I was going to get a Federico Chiesa jersey but I know he left Fiorentina so I don’t think they’d like that.

No name is always the best in my opinion, won’t go out of style, there’s no risk of that player leaving in a bad way or finding out later he’s a POS in his personal life. Alternatively get a custom one with a club legend like Bastistuta, Antognoni, Baggio or even Mutu.

No name could be a good call. I’m a Liverpool fan and I went with the training kit. Mostly because of price but they also look really cool

custom one with a club legend

      Please DON’T!

Current season jersey with the name of a legend is a terrible choice under every possible account. It’s historically inaccurate/wrong and it makes the shirt worthless for future resale should you decide to get rid of it.

A current player might one day leave in a less than amicable way (see Bernardeschi, Chiesa, Vlahovic) but the shirt will still have value, if not for rabid fans at least for collectors and completists. (Say, a few days back I saw a Napoli Higuain shirt sold for 100 bucks…)

Blank is the best way for wearability and it’s future proof.
