The shot was not powerfull enough. Thats the issue. R

That is not a simple square pass.

I dont think many players have that pass in them in the prem.

I do rhink that most strikers get more behind the shot amd score.

Mbueno from brentford probabl buries that.

    Work on shot power.

This. I don’t mind my striker being selfish the issue was it was a horrible shot.

      Needed both power and curve.

Yeah on second watch that’s a really hard pass to make. Could easily get cut out

The issue is how bad the shot was……

He has Trossard, who is a wizard in the penalty box, making a run, a simple little pass into him. He can pass to Saka early. He can still try the tight pass, put a little pace on it, it’s doable. Really, he should be looking to get the ball to almost anybody else, especially Trossard and Saka who can both dribble, shoot, and pass, and get himself into position to receive a pass or knock in a rebound.

        Lets agree to disagree.

I had another look at this vid and another angle.

Leo’s run there is more of a space maker imho. I would preffer the #9 take a shot rather than move the ball out wide.

Despite the commentry there was no square pass.

I think eddie needed a better strike on the ball
