realise this is a hot topic, but considering making the switch from iphone 12 pro max to s23 ultra.

i’m pretty integrated in apple which concerns me, i have mac and ipad and use these regularly. one thing i use a lot is the notes app, and the copy and paste feature is seamless through all devices. is there anything that mimics either of these?

and second, keychain. i have no idea what half my passwords are - can these be integrated straight to a samsung phone?

because i can trade in my phone at £330 directly with samsung, i would be saving ~£600 for the phone which brings the cost down considerably to £600. but that does mean i lose my phone as a back up should i dislike it and then id be left to fork out more for a new iphone.

so realistically what are the pros and cons?! is it worth messing up my seamless ecosystem?

I have had an iPhone for a long time but am switching to the s23 tomorrow. I used to have a MacBook and an ipad and an Apple Watch… but now I have a PC, a kindle, and a Garmin so I feel like it makes more sense to switch to an android phone. It’s also just way more economical. I did transfer all my photos to google photos though, which was an easy process. That was the stuff I was most concerned about “losing.”

I love it. The camera is so much better. The battery life is unreal. The settings make a lot more sense to me. It was very easy to switch. I’ve had it for 36 hours and am already fully acclimated. The one thing that I wish I would have done before turning my iPhone in was unregister my phone number from iMessage. You can do it without the phone, but it’s easier if you still have the phone. Once I figured out that’s why one of my group texts was all messed up, then I was golden. I had an iPhone for 10 years, and I don’t miss it.
