Saw that post about Reece James earlier. I’ve been seeing people call Messi or Ronaldo overrated after 1 game where they don’t score for years. Neymar played some amazing games for PSG but people assumed he declined due to being in Ligue 1. I see it so many times on this Sub and the wider community where people declare someone over or underrated after one game.
When they have clearly only watched 1 or 2 games of them. It annoys me when people make lazy comparisons or say that someone isn’t good when they don’t account for a player’s situation.
A lot of people weren’t saying he wasn’t a great player at all. But his injuries do play a big part because he hardly plays. Isnt there a saying that goes “availability is the best ability”?
You’re comparing generational talents who have won it all to Reece James, come on.
I have watched Real Madrid play, all the UCL games from 2011 until 2018.
I can remember watching, Mo Salah Play against as a AS Roma player against real Madrid in the UCL game.
In that game Mo Salah missed many scoring opportunities to score many goals, but didn’t because the end product was not good.
But his end product, suddenly became world class good in Liverpool.
The terms overrated and underrated are over used, and are so vague they are almost pointless.
Do you mean like how many times I’ve watched Ronaldo’s highlight videos?
I don’t know who is more stupid, the people who said messi, ronaldo, and neymar overrated, or you who takes that opinion seriously.
