Actually thought Villa were pretty poor yesterday but Luiz was absolute class under pressure. Incredible assist too.
He would be a great Partey replacement and can also play 8 just like Rice.
For a player of his quality, and given the interest at least we have shown in the past, I have to wonder why he didn’t negotiate a release clause in his deal. No offense to Villa, but it doesn’t seem like the club he would want to spend his prime years at.
