Despite how terrible Burnley and Sheffield United have been so far this season, what’s keeping those two managers in their jobs? At least Luton have managed to adjust to the premier league and are now getting results after a poor start

      It’s infuriating. People always whinge about a “lack of loyalty” when clubs lower the down table sack managers who’ve done well (see the rage over O’Neill in the summer), yet whenever one these clubs hits a poor run of form everyone is so desperate for them to instantly be sacked. It’s always outsiders/fans of bigger clubs that are the loudest about it as well.

      I don’t think Heckingbottom is getting the best out of this group, I’m extremely annoyed with some of our performances, and if the right man became available I wouldn’t be averse to making the change, but we’ve had this talk around his job since about 4 games into the season ffs. Our expectations were non existent anyway, a change in manager isn’t going to do anything short term
