Until 2019, most Corinthians’ supporters probably didn’t give a fuck about them. But since then, they started to win a lot and their directors and supporters started to be really a piece of shit, so now not just Corinthians but all brazilians and south americans is in a love or hate situation about them.

I don’t care if I don’t like it, Flamengo is not the biggest interstate rivalry, I could put Vasco or Inter ahead for many reasons, Flamengo has the similarity of being a mass team and having the controversy of who has the biggest fans, etc., however I think that It’s normal for big teams to have a rivalry at one point or another they’re going to fight for titles anyway, something normal for me

They are having their golden age since 2019 while we are having trouble in building a competitive squad again, so they’re being very annoying and hateable, but before 2019 we wouldn’t give a f about them.

Couldn’t care less about them. People try to push an imaginary rivalry between Corinthians and Flamengo, but Corinthians has only 2 rivals and Flamengo is not one of them.

Any real “hate” probably comes more from jealousy with their success in the Brasileirão and Libertadores rather than an actual rivalry. Corinthians have mostly been trash for five years being unable to develop any young players and rolling out a lineup of retreads.

Hate, not only for being annoying as fuck back in 2019, but mainly for having defeated us in Brazil’s cup and they stole our manager behind our back both events taking place in 2022. They also stole our main striker in 2015 and to a lesser extend Tite preferred them over us this year when he got back from the national team.

With that said Flamengo is not our biggest rival, first because they are a tiny club with arguably the most infidel fans you can think of (a large part of them started rooting for them in 2019 or they root for other teams besides Flamengo), second our disaffection towards other clubs in Sao Paulo and two clubs in the south far surpass anything we can think of these small fries.

I say they’re our most hated enemy in Rio de Janeiro for the next decade.
