Hi guys, quick question: is Galaxy as safe as iPhone when gets stolen? If iPhone is stolen the thief can’t access the data, can’t use the phone, can’t restore it to resell it, and most importantly I can locate it even when it’s turned off, a big risk for the thief then to take it with him. With Galaxy is it the same, identical level of security and convenience in case of theft? Fully armored, non-restorable and trackable even when turned off? Thanks!
No, you got go into boot loader with up and power button or something like that, it’s a complete reset and then you can just put in a new google account.
Android is nowhere near IOS is this unfortunately.
That’s like 7 Android OS updates ago. You can’t do that anymore without password resets unless you use some software.
Did you even try that? Factory Reset Protection is a thing. Will ask for the last use password even after reset.
