I think the awesomeness began in December 21 when ESR broke through and ended the Donut of Doom. The results werent quite there in the latter half of that season, but at least we were getting to watch sexy football again.
That was December 26th 2020 I believe. 2021/22 season was the one in which we lost to man City 2-1 at home to a late rodri goal. 22/23 was last year’s runner up season.
Its really not the only measure. Enjoy the passes, the goals, the celebrations, the crowd reactions, the wins, the champions league goal and wins.
Then when you look back you can try relate that to just trophies, or you can enjoy it and look back on each week as success, each goal as success and each player like saka/martinelli as success
I pour over every game in a way I never have before. I started watching around the end of the banter era–the first “big deal” event I remember is the signing of Ozil–and this is the first time I find myself looking forward to every game and wanting to go back and rewatch and linger after the fact. I’ve waited more than a decade for this team to be as good as the legends that were just before my time, and I’m so excited that it feels like we might finally be there.
I’m still in disbelief after 1.5 seasons of awesomeness and still… this is my arsenal?

I will never agree om selling ESR just because of that idgaf.
If Arteta isn’t going to play him I’d like us to sell purely because it would be the best thing for Emile.
I just hope we can convert the awesomeness to silverware
